The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) has announced that its flagship summer cultural festival, “Colors of India – Stories That Inspire,” will be held on August 15, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at NARA Park Amphitheater in Acton, Massachusetts.
The annual event brings together communities from across New England to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage through music, dance, food, art, and interactive experiences. According to an IAGB statement, this year’s theme, “Stories That Inspire,” highlights the diverse narratives that shape India’s cultural identity and its global diaspora.
Under the leadership of IAGB President Nilesh Agrawal, the organization evaluated several venue options to enhance accessibility, comfort, and the overall attendee experience. The team emphasized the importance of selecting a location that elevates the festival atmosphere and supports a seamless community gathering.”

The NARA Park Amphitheater was selected for its open-air setting suited for cultural performances, ample parking, family-friendly accessibility, spacious layout, and safe environment for community booths and activities.
Director of IAGB, Prashant Kulkarni said the new venue will allow IAGB to create a more immersive, comfortable, and engaging experience for attendees of all ages.
Festival highlights will include cultural performances featuring classical, folk, Bollywood, and fusion presentations; community booths showcasing art, crafts, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses; authentic Indian cuisine and refreshments; family-friendly interactive activities; and live music performances.
Apna Bazar Farmers Market has joined as the event’s grand sponsor, supporting IAGB’s mission to promote “cultural awareness, community service, and civic engagement.” Craft Indian Kitchen will serve as the food partner, while Deepak Garg and Nilesh Agrawal will oversee food vendor coordination to deliver a diverse culinary experience.
The cultural program is being curated by the IAGB Cultural Team, including Jharna Madan, Shital Bhammer, and Arpita Das Pathak. According to the statement, their collaborative efforts are helping shape a vibrant and diverse lineup that reflects India’s artistic richness.
The event will offer free admission and complimentary parking, making it accessible to families and community members of all ages. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the performances, explore local vendors, and celebrate the spirit of India in a scenic outdoor setting.
