NYC Health + Hospitals announced the appointment of two new senior executives, including Indian American Divya Pathak, who will serve as Vice President and Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer.
In this role, Pathak will lead systemwide efforts to advance data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital innovation. Kenra Ford has also been appointed as Senior Vice President of Clinical Services Operations.

In her new role, Pathak will oversee the organization’s data and AI functions, leading a multidisciplinary technical team. Her responsibilities include enabling collaboration across departments and guiding the development and integration of AI-driven tools and data insights that enhance care quality, boost operational performance, and improve patient outcomes across the health system.
Prior to this role, Pathak served as Chief Data Officer at NYC Health + Hospitals, where she led the development of the organization’s enterprise data strategy and governance framework. Her new role expands her leadership to include AI strategy and implementation.
Pathak brings deep expertise in data science, analytics, and artificial intelligence, with prior experience at Mayo Clinic and IBM Research. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Jamshedpur, India. She also holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
