The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) hosted its annual 5K Run-Walk for Education & Vision on May 31 at Depot Park along the Minuteman Community Bikeway in Bedford, Massachusetts. The event brought together families, youth, seniors, and community supporters for a morning focused on fitness, philanthropy, and community engagement.

According to an IAGB statement, proceeds from this year’s event supported two nonprofit organizations: Ekal Vidyalaya, a grassroots initiative dedicated to expanding educational opportunities in rural and tribal regions of India, and Vision Aid, which works to empower individuals with visual impairments through training, technology, and rehabilitation services.
