Hempstead, NY: Over one thousand people attended and were blessed by Sri Siddheshwar Brahmrishi Guruvar at a well-organized Guru Purnima program on July 18 in the John Cranford Adams Playhouse in Hofstra University here on Long Island.
With his great oratorical skills, the charismatic global guru exhorted the attentive audience to follow the spiritual path. In turn, amid repeated applause, he promised to watch over and uplift each one of his devotees.
Making a refreshingly new point – which may have gone down well with the accomplished people in the packed auditorium – the saffron-clad swami, known to his followers as Siddheshwar Gurudev, said that making money and creating wealth through fair means is a good thing. Only, don’t get attached to it, and direct it towards charitable giving.
He then disclosed that his organization, currently headquartered in Tirupati, India, will have a new headquarters and Ashram in Bengaluru on over 600 acres of land. The first project in the Bengaluru Ashram will be a huge state-of-the-art (AI-equipped) charitable hospital-cum-medical college.
It is being funded with a generous donation by Jugal Kishore Taneja, a successful entrepreneur in Tampa, Florida. The architectural design for the circular, multi-story building was displayed on the stage, and Taneja and the project’s architect, Alberto Alfonso, were introduced to the audience.
Dharma, religion not synonymous
Talking about the religious strife in the world, Siddheshwar said dharma and religion are mistaken as synonymous. Dharma as in Sanatana Dharma is eternal, so are its truths. He pointed out that religion fell behind as science marched because many moribund faiths declared their scriptures to be the final word, ruling out further refinement or experimentation.
Siddheshwar guru, who routinely conjures trinkets to give to devotees as powerful keepsakes, revealed that he just summons and aligns the relevant atoms and molecules to manifest a certain object.
The program was organized by the New York-based World Spiritual Forum, dedicated to promoting and disseminating the teachings and work of Siddhguru Siddheshwar. Its officials and major donors introduced the program commemorating Guru Purnima. Chandra Bhansali said that Sri Siddheshwar is a true guru because unlike many others he is not just imparting knowledge, but has the power to transform the lives of his devotees. He shared that Guruvar’s teachings and learning programs and visits to his Tirupati ashram are always offered free for all, reflecting his selfless service and compassion. Ashok Sancheti talked about the upcoming hospital project in Bengaluru blessed by Siddheshwar. Arvind Modi, International President of World Spiritual Forum, said that only with prayer and kismet can you meet a true guru.
Notable people who sat through the long program included Harshad ‘Pakaji’ Patel, Rakesh Bhargava, Kamlesh Mehta, Sharada Bhansali, Rajesh Choradia, Parveen Chopra, Beena Kothari and Indu Jaiswal.
Over a hundred people attending the program had come from outside New York, including Vidya Nagarajan, Director of Product Management at Google, based in Palo Alto, CA. At least 25 had come from Toronto in Canada.
Siddhasana workshop
Before Sri Siddheshwar’s discourse on July 18, Shilpa Mehta, one of his trained facilitators, conducted a half-hour guided meditation. After introducing Sahaj Shankh Mudra and pranayama, she guided the audience deeper and deeper into meditation. It was a prelude to the 4-hour intensive retreat, ‘Siddhasana – The Power of Soul’, organized the next day. That was also led by Florida-based Shilpa with 150 seekers joining in New Hyde Park, on Long Island.
For his devotees, Sri Siddheshwar Brahmrishi Ji is an enlightened mystic, a revered spiritual leader known for his mastery of Vedic science, astrology, and holistic ancient Indian practices. He is credited with having attained all 8 Siddhis (spiritual powers) and 9 Nidhis (divine treasures), using his gifts solely to heal and empower individuals at soul level. He constantly travels the world awakening people and blessing devotees. In India, his sprawling ashram is located in the holy temple town of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.
Filmmaker Neha Lohia’s hour-and-half-long documentary on Siddheshwar titled “Siddhi,” is ready for release. In the film, he has shared, publicly for the first time, some secret technologies behind his mastery of ‘Siddhis,’ and how he unlocks every soul’s limitless potential with the powerful Siddhasana program offered at retreats under his divine guidance.
