PM Modi Meets US Vice President JD Vance in Paris Ahead of Meeting with President Trump at the White House

Ahead of his visit to the United States from February 12-13, 2025, to meet US President Donald Trump, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with US Vice President JD Vance and his family in Paris on February 11th.

During their meeting, PM Modi joined VP Vance’s family in celebrating the birthday of his son, Vivek. Sharing his experience on social media, PM Modi tweeted, “Had a wonderful meeting with US Vice President JD Vance and his family. We had a great conversation on various subjects. Delighted to join them in celebrating the joyous birthday of their son, Vivek!”

VP Vance expressed his gratitude, noting, “Prime Minister Modi was gracious and kind, and our kids really enjoyed the gifts. I’m grateful to him for the wonderful conversation.”

The upcoming February 13 meeting between PM Modi and President Trump will mark their first official discussion since the President began his second term in office.
