Women Inspiring Network (WIN) launched WIN Connect, an AI-powered platform for women leaders, during its #WINLounge event in New York.
Held during Climate Week New York alongside the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, the gathering brought together business leaders, investors, policymakers and scientists for discussions on climate, finance, health and technology.
Princess Jahnavi Kumari Mewar, head of development at Hukum Raj Legacy and chairperson of Ubertas World, and Dilip Chauhan, deputy chief business diversity officer at the New York City Mayor’s Office of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises, unveiled the platform, according to a statement from WIN. Mewar also delivered the opening keynote.
WIN said the platform is designed to help members of its network of 10,000 people across 50 countries find contacts and opportunities. Its four features include WIN Compass, which searches the member network; WIN Circle, which brings members’ communities onto the platform; WIN Opportunity, which helps users identify potential contacts and draft introductions; and WIN Impact, where organizations can present their work to family offices, foundations and other leaders.
Chauhan pointed to New York City’s roughly $43 billion in annual procurement as an opportunity for minority- and women-owned businesses. He said access to capital, contracts and networks remains essential.
“Relationships are capital. Knowledge is capital. Networks are capital,” Chauhan said. “Sometimes one introduction to the right investor, customer, corporate partner, government agency, or mentor can change the trajectory of a business.”
Welcoming the platform’s use of AI to connect women leaders “with the right people and the right opportunities at the right time,” Chauhan added: “I believe technology should not replace relationships. Technology should help us strengthen and expand relationships.” He urged attendees to move “from ideas to connections, from connections to opportunities, and from opportunities to economic impact.”
The program included six panel discussions, fireside chats and WIN Voices podcasts. Topics ranged from climate leadership and financing the transition to generational health and wealth, AI and sustainability, leadership during uncertainty, and gender-inclusive finance.

With WIN Connect, we are giving that community the intelligence to turn trust into opportunity at scale, in a network that isn’t checking your net worth but asking what you are building and who you need to meet next.”
Jalan thanked Mewar, Chauhan, Mayor Mamdani, The Climate Group, the event’s speakers and partners, and those who attended. “This is WIN 2.0, and it is only the beginning,” she said.
The event also featured fireside conversations with Jennifer Koster of WerkWell and actor and UNDP youth champion Sanjana Sanghi. It concluded with a networking mixer and tea ceremony.
