Forest Hills, NY: In a pivotal moment for Indo-American collaboration in skill development and sustainability, National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tarun Chugh, visited the Telecom Institute of New York (T.I.N.Y.) and Delta Enterprise USA, both founded by Nishant Garg, on August 23, 2025.
After witnessing T.I.N.Y.’s groundbreaking vocational training and circular economy model in action, Chugh voiced strong support for bringing the initiative to India, according to a statement from T.I.N.Y.
The statement said that Chugh assured Garg that he would facilitate introductions for T.I.N.Y.’s leadership team to key stakeholders, government bodies, and industry associations in India. He stressed the strategic need for structured, globally recognized training and certification programs to empower Indian youth and elevate India’s position in the global telecom and electronics sectors.
“The human fingers are the best machines, and the mind behind them is the wisest computer. To train them is not just education; it is a recipe for national success,” Chugh told Garg, referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Thanking Chugh, who visited the New York area for several India Day celebrations, Garg said, “With your guidance and blessings, we now move forward with renewed confidence. This isn’t just a plan, IT’S A MOVEMENT!”
Fresh from his appointment to the CTIA’s prestigious Reverse Logistics and Service Quality (RLSQ) Leadership Council, Garg also shared the blueprint of his plan for India.
Garg’s Plan to Transform India’s Skill Ecosystem
T.I.N.Y. and Delta Enterprise USA are finalizing a comprehensive proposal for India that includes:
- The T.I.N.Y. vocational training and circular economy model
- Strategic partnerships
- Deployment plans for rural and urban ecosystems
- Measurable social, economic, and environmental impact
The T.I.N.Y. leadership team will follow up with a visit to India to:
- Meet with government officials, industry leaders, and academic institutions
- Identify locations for pilot training centers
- Build coalitions to support Atmanirbhar Bharat and a sustainable digital economy
India’s Global Moment: Youth, Sustainability & Skill
India is undergoing a transformation through initiatives such as Digital India, Skill India, Startup India, and Make in India. As Chugh highlighted during his discussions with Garg, the future belongs to those who prepare today.
T.I.N.Y./Delta’s model, already successful among New York’s immigrant and refugee youth, aligns with India’s goal of becoming a global hub of skilled, green talent. By integrating repair ecosystems, reverse logistics, and recycling hubs, T.I.N.Y. is not only skilling individuals but also creating sustainable livelihoods.
At the heart of it lies a simple yet powerful Indian motto: “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The World is One Family).
The Impact: One Model, Many Possibilities
With backing from BJP leadership and in sync with the vision of PM Modi, Garg’s initiative aims to:
- Establish certified training hubs across India
- Provide international certifications in telecom
- Foster entrepreneurship, especially among women
- Champion green practices and circular logistics
- Empower India’s youth for global leadership
Garg is also working to launch a retail-tech hybrid, powered by Delta Enterprise USA, that combines repair, recycling, trade-in, and training. This model will serve as both a green hub and a skills accelerator under one roof.
A Beginning That Builds Bridges
“This was a very encouraging beginning… with Chugh’s guidance, we’re confident that T.I.N.Y./Delta can play a meaningful role in creating skilled manpower, nurturing entrepreneurship, and building a green, inclusive future for India, while strengthening the bridge between our two countries,” Garg said.
