Beyond biometrics, UIDAI has strengthened the very first step of the enrolment process: document verification. The new AI-powered platform extracts and analyses document metadata, verifying it directly against trusted source databases.
Using secure APIs from DigiLocker, the system confirms document authenticity while dramatically reducing turnaround time. Advanced AI inferencing enables semantic analysis, flagging inconsistencies and preventing fraud before it enters the Aadhaar ecosystem.
