The American Telugu Association (ATA), celebrated ATA Day on August 23, 2025, at the Mesa Convention Center in Mesa, Arizona, drawing an audience of more than 4,000 people. The event showcased the strength and unity of the Telugu American community through rich displays of cultural heritage, traditions, values, customs, and music.

City of Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke joined as a special guest, extending his warm wishes to the Telugu community. The celebration began with the divine blessings of Lord Venkateswara during the ceremonial Srinivasa Kalyanam, setting a spiritual tone for the day.
From a high-powered Business Meet connecting leaders and entrepreneurs to a vibrant Fashion Show, cultural performances, kids’ competitions, a food festival, and a thunderous live concert, ATA Day in Phoenix resembled a full-fledged convention that energized the Valley of the Sun.

ATA President Jayanth Challa, along with President-Elect Satish Reddy, Secretary Sainath Boyapalli, Executive Director Narsi Reddy Gaddikopula, and Board of Trustee Venn Reddy, congratulated the Phoenix team for successfully hosting the mega event.
Speaking at the occasion, Challa highlighted ATA’s recent activities across 25 U.S. cities and announced the 19th ATA Convention, scheduled for July 31–August 2, 2026, in Baltimore. Reddy emphasized the organization’s ongoing charity initiatives in both the United States and India, while also unveiling plans for ATA Vedukalu 2025, a series of cultural programs scheduled across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from December 12–27, 2025, culminating at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad.

The entertainment highlight of the evening was a captivating performance by Tollywood singer Sumangaly, accompanied by the Ragin Band. Their concert had the crowd on their feet, dancing and celebrating with enthusiasm.
ATA Arizona Regional Director Raghunath Reddy Gadi attributed the success of ATA Day to the unwavering support of sponsors, while Regional Coordinators Sunil Annapureddy, Subha Gayam, and Madan Bollareddy praised the dedication of volunteers, whose selfless efforts helped create lasting memories for all attendees.
