In a vibrant display of devotion, community spirit, and cultural pride, hundreds gathered on June 14, 2025, in North Brunswick, NJ, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Sai Mandir. Hosted by the nonprofit spiritual organization Sai Pariwar, the milestone event also marked the official unveiling of plans for a new temple, signaling a bold step forward for the region’s growing Hindu community.
The celebration began with the sacred Sai Baba Abhishekam and Alankaram, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere that brought together devotees in prayer and reflection. Traditional chants echoed throughout the temple grounds as visitors engaged in rituals that have long defined the community’s spiritual life.
Several dignitaries attended the event, including former New Jersey State Assemblyman Upendra Chivukula, North Brunswick Councilman Rajesh Mehta, and South Brunswick School Board Member Smitha Raj. Community and business leaders from Central New Jersey also joined the gathering. In remarks delivered throughout the day, speakers commended Sai Pariwar for its enduring commitment to compassion, inclusivity, and the preservation of cultural heritage.

The highlight of the day was the formal announcement of Sai Pariwar’s newly approved temple construction plan. Renderings of the envisioned temple campus were presented to the public, drawing applause and enthusiasm from attendees. A Sai Pariwar representative expressed excitement about the future, noting that the new facility would serve not only as a sacred space for worship but also as a center for cultural and community service.
As the event concluded with the Madhyahan Aarti and the distribution of Prasadam, organizers called on supporters to help fund the next phase of their vision. Donations to the Temple Construction Fund are now being accepted online and at the temple, with all contributions being tax-deductible. A fundraising event is also scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025, in New Jersey, with further details to be announced soon.
Founded in 2001 and offering regular worship services since 2010, Sai Pariwar is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that promotes values of humility, respect, responsibility, and compassion through its religious, cultural, and service-oriented initiatives.
