India is set to launch a major international diplomatic initiative, Operation Sindoor, as seven all-party parliamentary delegations, comprising 59 Members of Parliament, prepare to visit over 30 countries starting May 22 and 23. The mission aims to reinforce “India’s collective resolve against terrorism” through global engagement.

The delegations will be led by senior MPs from across the political spectrum, including Shashi Tharoor (Congress), Supriya Sule (NCP–Sharad Pawar), Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (DMK), Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda (BJP), Sanjay Kumar Jha (JD-U), and Shrikant Shinde (Shiv Sena).

Delegation Details:

• Shashi Tharoor’s team will visit the United States, Panama, Guyana, Brazil, and Colombia. His delegation includes Shambhavi MP (LJP–Ram Vilas), Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmad MP (JMM), GM Harish Balayogi MP (TDP), Shashank Mani Tripathi MP (BJP), Bhubaneswar Kalita MP (BJP), Milind Murli Deora MP (Shiv Sena), Amb. Taranjit Singh Sandhu, and Tejasvi Surya MP (BJP).

• Baijayant Panda will lead a group to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria. His team includes Dr. Nishikant Dubey MP (BJP), Phangnon Konyak MP (BJP), Rekha Sharma MP (BJP), Asaduddin Owaisi MP (AIMIM), Satnam Singh Sandhu (Nominated), Ghulam Nabi Azad, and Amb. Harsh Vardhan Shringla.

• Ravi Shankar Prasad’s delegation will travel to the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Denmark. Team members include Dr. Daggubati Purandeswari MP (TDP), Priyanka Chaturvedi MP (Shiv Sena–UBT), Ghulam Ali Khatana MP (Nominated), Dr. Amar Singh MP (INC), Samik Bhattacharya MP (BJP), MJ Akbar, and Amb. Pankaj Saran.

• Kanimozhi Karunanidhi’s delegation will head to Russia, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, and Latvia. The team includes Rajeev Rai MP (SP), Mian Altaf Ahmad MP (NC), Capt. Brijesh Chowta MP (BJP), Prem Chand Gupta MP (RJD), Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal MP (AAP), Amb. Manjeev S. Puri, and Amb. Jawed Ashraf.

• Supriya Sule’s group is set to visit South Africa, Qatar, Egypt, and Ethiopia. Her delegation features Rajiv Pratap Rudy MP (BJP), Vikramjit Singh Sahney MP (AAP), Manish Tewari MP (INC), Anurag Singh Thakur MP (BJP), Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu MP, Anand Sharma, V. Muraleedharan, and Amb. Syed Akbaruddin.

• Sanjay Kumar Jha’s team will cover Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Delegates include Aparajita Sarangi MP (BJP), Yusuf Pathan MP (AITC), Brij Lal MP (BJP), Dr. John Brittas MP (CPI-M), Pradan Baruah MP (BJP), Dr. Hemang Joshi MP (BJP), Salman Khurshid, and Amb. Mohan Kumar.

• Shrikant Shinde’s delegation will engage with officials in the UAE, Liberia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sierra Leone. His team includes Bansuri Swaraj MP (BJP), E.T. Mohammed Basheer MP (IUML), Atul Garg MP (BJP), Dr. Sasmit Patra MP (BJD), Manan Kumar Mishra MP (BJP), SS Ahluwalia, and Amb. Sujan Chinoy.
