Headway BPO and WFWPI Forge Strategic Alliance to Advance Women’s Empowerment and Digital Innovation

Headway BPO of America and the Women’s Federation for World Peace International (WFWPI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 2, 2025, at WFWPI Headquarters in New York, marking the start of a strategic collaboration to promote “advancing women’s empowerment, youth engagement, digital innovation, and sustainable development.”

The partnership is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reflects a shared commitment to fostering “inclusive, technology-driven solutions” that contribute to global progress, according to a statement from Headway BPO.

The MoU was formally signed by Director and CEO of Headway BPO of America, Anupam Dutta, and International Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and Director of the Office for UN Relations, Merly Barlaan, at WFWPI.

As part of the agreement, Headway BPO of America will:

  • Provide AI-driven technology integration and digital platforms to support WFWPI’s global initiatives.
  • Enhance the WFWPI UN Relations Office in New York and its affiliated international programs through sustainable technology solutions.
  • Support the expansion and global implementation of the GWAPA APP (Global Women’s Ambassador for Peace) platform.
  • Collaborate in initiatives focused on youth leadership, digital skills training, and innovation for peace and development.

“This partnership is a natural alignment of values and vision,” said a representative from Headway BPO. “We are proud to stand alongside WFWPI in creating systems and platforms that uplift communities, empower women, and drive impactful change.”

Headway BPO of America LLC is a U.S.-based digital transformation, consulting, and business process management firm committed to delivering “cutting-edge technology, automation, and AI-driven platforms to empower organizations and enhance operational efficiency across diverse sectors, including healthcare, BFSI, hospitality, retail, education, and not-for-profits.”

WFWPI is a global NGO with General Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC. Operating in more than 128 countries, the organization focuses on “peacebuilding, women’s leadership, education, and sustainable development,” while fostering collaborative partnerships to promote global equity and harmony, according to the statement.
