Entrepreneurs Fazal Sirhindi and Mansoor Qureshi co-hosted a meet-and-greet with Rep. Suhas Subramanyam, who represents Virginia’s 10th Congressional District, on August 9, 2026, in Herndon, Virginia.
According to a statement from the hosts, the gathering brought together hundreds of Pakistani American professionals, entrepreneurs, business executives, community leaders, families, and residents from across Northern Virginia and the greater Washington metropolitan area. The event focused on community engagement, networking, entrepreneurship, civic participation, and direct dialogue with congressional leadership.
During the event, Subramanyam praised the Pakistani American community for its professional accomplishments, entrepreneurial spirit, and contributions to Virginia and the United States. He also acknowledged the community’s role in the region’s economic and civic life and encouraged continued participation in community affairs and the democratic process, according to the statement.
During a question-and-answer session, Subramanyam also discussed the importance of “immigration and opportunity” in the United States, highlighting the nation’s history as a country of immigrants and the need to ensure that people have opportunities to pursue their goals and succeed.
“It was a great honor to bring together so many accomplished members of our Pakistani-American community with Congressman Suhas Subramanyam,” said Qureshi, a staffing company partner and entrepreneur. “Our community has tremendous talent, entrepreneurs, professionals, business owners, and leaders. Creating opportunities for meaningful dialogue with elected officials is important for our community and our future.”
“Our Pakistani-American community has built an incredible legacy through hard work, entrepreneurship, education, and service,” said Sirhindi. “It was an honor to bring our community together with Congressman Suhas Subramanyam for meaningful dialogue and connection. The hosts expressed their appreciation to Subramanyam for meeting with members of the community and thanked attendees for their participation and contributions to the event’s success.
