Mercuri, Saregama and Catch the Rhythms, in collaboration with Ultra Entertainments and Bharat Bhavan, will present “Raja 50 – Ilaiyaraaja Live in Concert” on August 15, 2026, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.

The Dallas concert is part of the broader Raja 50 U.S. celebration commemorating five decades of Ilaiyaraaja’s contributions to Indian music, according to a statement.

As national promoters of Raja 50 in the United States, Mercuri and Saregama are leading efforts to bring Ilaiyaraaja and his music to audiences across the country.

“The Raja 50 tour marks an important milestone in the career of one of India’s most influential composers,” the statement added. “Through the national promotion of this special concert series, Mercuri and Saregama are giving audiences across the U.S. an opportunity to experience Ilaiyaraaja’s music live and celebrate a body of work that has touched generations of listeners.”

For the Dallas concert, Ultra Entertainments is helping bring the Raja 50 experience to the Indian community in North Texas.

Known for connecting U.S. audiences with Indian artists and large-scale cultural entertainment events, Ultra Entertainments has continued to expand its presence in the live entertainment sector, the statement noted.

As part of the Dallas collaboration, Bharat Bhavan in Irving is offering special benefits to eligible concert ticket holders. Customers who purchase Ilaiyaraaja concert tickets through Ultra Entertainments or Bharat Bhavan can receive a 10 percent discount on meals at Bharat Bhavan.

Eligible ticket buyers will also have an opportunity to participate in a special lucky draw for exclusive meet-and-greet passes with Ilaiyaraaja at Bharat Bhavan in Irving.

The initiative is designed to extend the Raja 50 experience beyond the concert venue by giving selected fans an opportunity to meet the composer in a more intimate setting.

Over the past five decades, Ilaiyaraaja’s music has reached audiences across languages, regions and generations. His distinctive compositions and orchestration have established him as one of the most prominent figures in Indian music, with a body of work that continues to “influence artists and connect audiences” around the world, according to the statement.

The Dallas performance will showcase that musical legacy for longtime admirers and a new generation of listeners, featuring music associated with memorable moments in Indian cinema and popular culture.
