Wamiqa Gabbi’s latest social media post has sparked a fresh wave of reactions online, with fans not only praising her looks but also imagining what they want to see from her next on screen. While the actor has been winning appreciation for her recent performances, many netizens now seem convinced that an action film should be her next move.
The conversation comes at a time when Gabbi is enjoying one of her strongest runs yet. After receiving love from audiences for Bhooth Bangla, she has continued to stay in the spotlight with Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, where viewers have praised her comic timing, screen presence and charm. At the same time, the recently-released trailer of her Tamil romantic actioner, DC, opposite Lokesh Kanagaraj, has showcased a different side of the actor, with glimpses of a more intense and emotionally charged performance with action.
Fans now seem eager to see Gabbi venture into the action space. While many cannot stop talking about her striking look, expressive eyes and screen presence, a large section of the comments was dedicated to imagining her next big-screen move. Several users openly campaigned to see her in Dhoom 4, if made, while others called for her to headline an action film.
The conversation even extended to potential on-screen pairings, with fans saying she would look great opposite Ranbir Kapoor and jokingly asking, “Ranbir Kapoor, are you listening?”
Gabbi, who made her debut playing Kareena Kapoor Khan’s cousin in Jab We Met (2007) has since played supporting roles and then leads also in Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam apart from Hindi films. Her turnaround came with the web series Grahan followed by Jubilee.
She is also doing Prahaar—The Ujjwal Nikam Story that stars Rajkummar Rao.
