The Indian American International Chamber of Commerce (IAICC), in partnership with Radiant Digital, recently hosted an in-person AI training workshop for public sector professionals and job seekers, bringing together participants from both the public and private sectors to explore practical, real-world applications of artificial intelligence.
Held in Vienna, Virginia, the workshop focused on hands-on skill development rather than theoretical discussions, with the goal of equipping participants to apply AI tools immediately, regardless of their technical background, according to IAICC. The program drew professionals seeking to upskill in their current roles, individuals navigating career transitions, and job seekers looking to strengthen their competitiveness in an increasingly AI-driven workforce.

Throughout the day, participants “engaged in interactive sessions that demonstrated how AI tools can be used to automate routine tasks, transform unstructured information into reusable deliverables, and streamline everyday workflows,” IAICC said. A central outcome of the workshop was enabling attendees to develop a personalized AI action plan tailored to their specific role, organization, or career objectives.
As a non-profit organization, IAICC noted that it continues to prioritize “professional development, innovation, and workforce readiness” within the community. The workshop was designed to make “AI education accessible, practical, and directly relevant” to the challenges professionals face in today’s evolving job market.
The program featured expert facilitation from Kristan Smith, CEO of MND Suite Consulting, and Aleksandar Nedelkovski, Organizational Transformation Manager for AI Solutions at Radiant Digital. Radiant Digital sponsored the event and supported the delivery of hands-on training aligned with real workplace needs.

“Together, they guided participants through responsible and thoughtful adoption of AI tools. Emphasis was placed not only on efficiency and productivity, but also on ethical, well-governed use of AI within professional environments,” IAICC stated.
Participant feedback underscored the value of the workshop’s applied approach, the Chamber noted, adding that attendees highlighted the focus on “real-world use cases, responsible AI practices, and immediately usable tools” as key takeaways that could be integrated into current roles or future job searches.
IAICC said it plans to host additional AI-focused programs in the future, continuing its mission to support upskilling, reskilling, and career transition opportunities for public sector professionals and job seekers.
