The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) has appointed five prominent industry leaders to its India Executive Leadership Board, reinforcing its mission to deepen economic and strategic ties between the United States and India.

The newly appointed members are:

• Bhawna Agarwal, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)
• Kishor Nair, Chief Executive Officer, Avaada Energy
• Chetan Krishnaswamy, Vice President, Public Policy, Amazon India
• Michael A. Mustian, Lead Country Manager, ExxonMobil India
• Ipsita Dasgupta, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, HP India

Welcoming the appointees, USISPF President and CEO Mukesh Aghi said, “On behalf of everyone at USISPF, it gives me immense pleasure to welcome Bhawna, Kishor, Chetan, Michael and Ipsita to the India Executive Leadership Board.”

Aghi emphasized that these leaders offer extensive industry expertise, strategic vision, and strong corporate leadership, along with a deep passion and commitment to strengthening U.S.-India commercial ties. He noted that their representation of key sectors will play a vital role in advancing the mission to deepen economic engagement and promote a collaborative, inclusive public–private partnership.

Kishor Nair said, “I am honored to join the USISPF’s India Executive Leadership Board, a platform that plays a pivotal role in advancing the strategic and economic partnership between India and the United States.” 

He emphasized that Avaada sees collaboration in sectors such as solar manufacturing, clean energy supply chains, electric vehicles, advanced communication, AI infrastructure, semiconductors, defense manufacturing, and the joint ambition to deploy 100 GW of Small Modular Reactors by 2047 as central to future growth.

Bhawna Agarwal noted, “I’m honored to join the India Executive Leadership Board of USISPF. Chetan Krishnaswamy said, “I am delighted to join the distinguished Board of Directors at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum. At this crucial time in US-India relations, the opportunities for collaboration in technology and digital innovation are unprecedented,” adding “I look forward to working with fellow board members to strengthen this vital strategic partnership and drive meaningful progress between our two nations.”

Michael A. Mustian commented, “I’m honored to join the India Executive Leadership Board at a time when collaboration between Indian and American companies is broadening and deepening. The opportunities for India and the US to work together in energy and many other sectors will continue to grow. I look forward to sharing my insights, especially on policies and collaborations that can support India’s energy goals.”

Ipsita Dasgupta said, “I’m honored to join the India Executive Leadership Board of the USISPF. As technology continues to redefine industries and shape the future of both economies, I look forward to collaborating with fellow leaders to strengthen the digital bridge between the U.S. and India.” 

She added that forums like USISPF play a critical role in fostering dialogue, promoting bilateral trade, and aligning public and private sector efforts for greater impact. “I believe in the power of innovation to drive real change and am committed to advancing policies and partnerships that deepen bilateral ties and serve communities across both nations,” she said.
