National Retail Solutions Taps DoorDash to Empower Retailers Nationwide

National Retail Solutions, Inc. (NRS) has announced a strategic partnership with DoorDash to support small, independent retailers across the United States by integrating DoorDash’s retail APIs into NRS’s technology ecosystem.

United in their mission to empower local businesses and strengthen community ties, both companies aim to provide innovative tools that help small retailers compete in an increasingly digital marketplace, according to NRS. 

“Local communities are the soul of America, and the local businesses that support them are the beating heart,” said CEO and President of NRS, Elie Y. Katz. “This important partnership allows those businesses to thrive in the face of uncertainty, ensuring local communities flourish,” he added.

Katz emphasized that the integration will allow merchants to manage online orders through a centralized and automated Order Management platform, accessible directly from their NRS Point-of-Sale (POS) system or Merchant Portal.

By leveraging DoorDash’s marketplace, participating merchants can display real-time inventory and product availability to customers, ensuring accurate listings and streamlined order processing, he aaded. All orders are consolidated within the Order Management Platform, enabling efficient preparation and fulfillment while allowing staff to continue serving in-store customers effectively.

Senior Vice President of Ecommerce at NRS, Ari B. Korman, highlighted the tangible benefits of the collaboration. 

“Our partnership with DoorDash has been incredibly beneficial,” Korman said. “Together, we’re simplifying the operational challenges faced by small, independent merchants in today’s dynamic digital environment. By collaborating, we can reduce friction and costs within a vital sales channel that many merchants rely on for business growth. DoorDash’s commitment to small businesses is central to their mission, and we deeply appreciate their partnership.”

NRS reported that early results from the initial rollout, which is currently focused on liquor retailers, have been encouraging. Many of these early adopters are already experiencing positive business momentum driven by the enhanced integration with DoorDash.

Looking ahead, NRS plans to expand the partnership’s benefits to a wider range of retail sectors, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to helping independent merchants thrive in the digital economy.
