Life Certificate Camps organized by the Consulate General of India in Toronto began November 1, providing pension-related services to approximately 900 pensioners at two locations.

The camps will continue every weekend through the end of November, offering beneficiaries access to life certificates and other consular services.

Kuljeet Singh Arora, who supervised the first camp at the Hindu Heritage Centre in Mississauga, said hundreds of people attended to obtain life certificates and receive other consular services. A second camp was held at the Toronto Kalibari Temple.

India’s Consul General in Toronto, Mahaveer Singhvi, visited the Hindu Heritage Centre camp, where he met with senior citizens and listened to their concerns and suggestions.
