Bridgewater Commons and Renascent Media hosted their third annual Diwali celebration on Oct. 24, bringing nearly 1,000 visitors together for South Asian music, dance, fashion and cultural activities, according to a statement from Renascent Media.
Presented by Open Road Auto Group, Diwali@The Commons featured performances and activities highlighting traditions associated with the Festival of Lights.

Celebrated across India and by communities worldwide, Diwali symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance, the statement noted.
“Nearly 1,000 people, many in traditional dress, celebrated Diwali and learned more about this beautiful and meaningful festival,” said Tom Kovacic, marketing and business development director at Bridgewater Commons. “We remain grateful for the support and guidance of Open Road and Renascent Media and look forward to an even more spectacular celebration next year.”
