The event opened with “heartfelt birthday wishes” to Pujya Gurudevshri, followed by a “soulful musical dedication” by devotees, according to SRSC USA.

Addressing a large gathering, Pujya Gurudevshri spoke about the deeper meaning of life and awareness. He explained the distinction between human birth and human life, stating that “if we transform human birth into a Festival of Bliss, then it will be said that human life has truly been lived.”

He added that awakening true discrimination between “worthless and worthwhile living” enables a seeker to remain detached even amid worldly entanglements.
