Filmmaker Sandeep Singh has brought together an acclaimed international action team to create spectacular battle sequences for the Rs. 500 crore magnum opus The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, starring National award-winning actor Rishab Shetty as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, alongside Arjun Rampal, Shefali Shah, Zanai Bhosle (Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter) and Vivek Oberoi in pivotal roles.
The film brings together an award-winning and internationally-acclaimed team of action directors, renowned for creating spectacular sequences in some of the world’s biggest productions. Leading the team is Mark Henson, celebrated for his work on Game of Thrones, Vikings, The Witcher and Gravity. Joining him is Vlad Rimburg, whose credits include The Fate of the Furious, Bloodshot and Lucifer. Completing this powerhouse team is Craig Macrae, whose extensive international work includes Troy: Fall of a City.

Made on a massive budget of Rs. 500 crore, the film is envisioned as a two-part cinematic saga, bringing one of India’s greatest historical legends to life with unprecedented scale and ambition.
M.M. Keeravani was reportedly considered for the film, which finally went to Pritam, but after Pritam decided to quit film assignments for now, the music is being done by Amit Trivedi.
For Sandeep Singh, this ambitious historical epic is more than just another film: it is a passion project. Aligarh, Sarbjit,Bhoomi, PM Narendra Modi, Jhund, Main Atal Hoon and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, which recently won Randeep Hooda the Best Debut Director trophy at the National awards.
