Next Gen Leaders Mentorship Program Expands Impact
In its fourth year, the 3AF Next Gen Leaders Mentorship Program continued its mission to nurture the next wave of marketing and media professionals. Connecting emerging talents with seasoned industry leaders, the program provided participants with critical skills and networks to excel in multicultural marketing.
Groundbreaking Inclusivity Research with Amplify AAPI and AARP
3AF partnered with Amplify AAPI and AARP to co-host the “Advanced Inclusivity in Survey Research” event. The initiative addressed challenges in data representation for Asian Americans, fostering better industry decisions through inclusive and accurate research practices.
3AF Summit Shines in Dallas
Breaking tradition, the 2024 3AF Summit and Multicultural Awards Gala was held in Dallas, Texas. Drawing record attendance, the event became a cornerstone for celebrating Asian American contributions to marketing and media. The Awards Gala highlighted innovative achievements and emphasized the growing influence of the Asian American demographic.
Mental Health Campaign Tackles Stigma
In collaboration with the Ad Council, 3AF launched a mental health awareness campaign to address critical issues affecting Asian Americans. The initiative provided resources, encouraged dialogue, and worked to destigmatize mental health within the community.
A Message from President Indy Majumdar
Indrajit “Indy” Majumdar, the first South Asian and media-sector leader to serve as 3AF President, reflected on the year’s successes:
“Our efforts are aimed at elevating the Asian American community and ensuring it receives the attention and investments it deserves. With purchasing power projected to reach $1.9 trillion by 2026, the Asian American market offers unparalleled opportunities for brands and corporations.”
Under Majumdar’s leadership, 3AF strengthened partnerships with organizations like ANA, AIMM, Gold House, and the Hispanic Marketing Council, while growing its membership and influence within the industry.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As 3AF enters 2025, it plans to expand its efforts with more webinars, educational programs, and outreach events. The organization aims to deepen understanding of emerging trends and enhance media measurement tools to reflect the true value of the Asian American market.
