Rep. Khanna to Serve on House Armed Services Subcommittee in the 119th Congress

Indian American Congressman Ro Khanna (CA-17) has been appointed as the Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Cyber, Innovative Technologies, and Information Systems (CITI) for the 119th Congress. The subcommittee is chaired by Rep. Don Bacon (NE-02).

Additionally, Rep. Khanna has been named a member of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Seapower, which is chaired by Rep. Trent Kelly (MS-01) with Rep. Joe Courtney (CT-02) serving as the Ranking Member.

Rep. Khanna noted “I am honored to be appointed to the CITI and Seapower House Armed Services subcommittees and look forward to working with Chairman Mike Rogers (AL-03), Ranking Member Adam Smith (WA-09), and Chairman Don Bacon (NE-02) to use emerging technologies to improve national security and critical infrastructure. It is critical we have a clear national security vision for the 21st century and work to restore America as a global leader in technology.”
