Indian Consulate in Houston to Host Consular Camp in San Antonio on September 20

The Consulate General of India in Houston, in collaboration with the India Association of San Antonio (IASA), will organize a one-day Consular Camp on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 9114 Summer Wind Street, San Antonio, TX 78217.

The Consulate has urged applicants to register in advance to attend the camp. Registration details are available on the IASA website: https://www.indiasa.org/event.php?eid=128.

According to the Consulate, applicants are required to complete their applications online via the VFS Global portal before visiting the camp. 

Payment for services may be made either:

  • Online through the VFS portal (applicants must bring a printed payment receipt), or
  • By Money Order payable to “VFS Services (USA) Inc.â€, to be submitted with the application at the camp.
  • Applicants must bring a printed copy of the completed application form and all supporting documents for verification. 
  • For miscellaneous services such as document attestation, one copy of the document must also be submitted along with the application.

Services Offered at the Consular Camp:

For U.S. Passport Holders of Indian Origin:

  • New and renewal of OCI card applications and other OCI-related services (verification and submission)
  • Emergency visa applications (verification and submission)
  • Renunciation of Indian nationality applications (verification and submission)

For Indian Passport Holders:

  • Renewal of Indian passports
  • Global Entry Program (GEP) applications
  • Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) applications

Miscellaneous Consular Services (for Indian Passport Holders only):

  • Attestation of affidavits and documents, including Power of Attorney, Birth Certificate, and Marriage Certificate
  • Issuance of certificates such as NRI Certificate and Life Certificate
  • Issuance of No Objection Certificate (NOC) for transportation of mortal remains
  • Other standard consular services (Note: NORI will not be provided under this category)
