The Consulate General of India (CGI) in Houston, in collaboration with Friends of India in Colorado, will host a Consular Camp on May 3, 2025, at 8527 Lone Tree Parkway, Lone Tree, Colorado. The camp will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and prior registration is required for attendance.
This special initiative aims to provide Indian nationals and individuals of Indian origin an opportunity to engage directly with Consulate officials.
In a statement issued on April 25th, the Consulate announced that U.S. passport holders of Indian origin who are applying for an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card, emergency visa, or seeking renunciation of Indian citizenship may submit their applications along with supporting documents for verification at the camp.
Additionally, Indian passport holders applying for passport renewal, Global Entry Program (GEP) verification, or Police Clearance Certificates (PCC) may also present their applications and documents for verification. Following verification by the consulate officials’ applicants will be required to send their completed applications to VFS Global in Houston.
The Consulate clarified that while miscellaneous services for Indian passport holders (excluding NORI and PCC services) will be available at the camp, there will be no on-the-spot issuance of passport renewals, visas, or OCI cards.
