Green Packet Berhad, a leading Malaysian technology solutions provider committed to fostering inclusive, sustainable, and future-ready digital ecosystems, has appointed Datuk Wira Shahul Hameed Dawood as its new Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, effective July 21, 2025.

According to an official company statement, this leadership transition represents a bold strategic pivot as the Group seeks to position itself at the forefront of innovation, inclusivity, and regional digital transformation.

Datuk Wira Shahul brings over three decades of multi-sector experience and is widely regarded for his ability to drive organizational transformation while fostering strong public-private partnerships.

“I’m honored to step into the role of Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of Green Packet Berhad,” said Datuk Wira Shahul. 

He expressed his deep appreciation to the Chairman and Board of Directors for their “trust and confidence” in allowing him the opportunity to serve in this role and contribute to Green Packet’s next chapter.

Prior to this appointment, Datuk Wira Shahul served as Chief Executive of the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp), where he led one of Malaysia’s most significant talent development initiatives. His efforts impacted millions of Malaysians and engaged key stakeholders across industry, academia, and international organizations.

In addition to his national contributions, he is recognized for building cross-sectoral and cross-border strategic alliances, further enhancing his profile as a transformational leader well-suited to guide Green Packet’s regional ambitions.
