On behalf of the Indian American community, the Foundation for India and Indian Diaspora Studies (FIIDSUSA) has expressed “deep sorrow and shock” over the antisemitic attack that claimed the lives of two young Israeli embassy staff members outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. on May 21, 2025.
“We strongly condemn this cowardly act of hate and violence,” FIIDS said in a statement. “We must unite across all communities, faiths, and nations to reject antisemitism and extremism in all its forms in support of peace, religious harmony and democracies. Together, we stand in solidarity with the victims’ families, the Israeli community.”
