Chief Minister of Telangana, Revanth Reddy participated in a CEO roundtable hosted by the Consulate General of India in New York on August 5, 2024. The event brought together over more than 20 top Chairpersons and CEOs from sectors such as pharma, IT, EV, biotech, and shipping to explore investment prospects in Telangana.
During the roundtable, Reddy underscored Telangana’s potential role in the “China Plus One” strategy for America, aiming to attract substantial investment.
“I hope to take back home as many dollars from all of you as possible,” Reddy told the CEOs after presenting Telangana’s potential. He pointed out Telangana’s strengths areas such as software, life sciences, and pharma, aerospace, defense, and electronics.
“Hyderabad has a rich history of 425 years, almost as old as the USA,” he said inviting global leaders to consider investment opportunities, particularly through ambitious projects like Future City, India’s first Net Zero Carbon city.
“Telangana means business,” he underscored while encouraging them to visit and collaborate for a brighter future.
Minister of IT, Government of Telangana, Sridhar Babu Duddilla elaborated on supportive policies and stressed Hyderabad as a key global investment hub. The industry leaders responded positively, showing enthusiasm for future opportunities in Telangana.
