U.S. Representative Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10) has announced that he will host a series of town hall-style District Dialogues focused on data centers, transmission lines, and rising electricity costs across Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.

The first session will take place on December 4, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Stone Hill Middle School in Ashburn. Interested residents should RSVP here: https://subramanyam.house.gov/Events

Virginia’s 10th District includes the area known as “data center alley” and is home to nearly half of all data centers in the state, noted a statement from Subramanyam’s office. The announcement added that attendees will have 90 seconds to share their thoughts directly with the Congressman. The goal is to hear from residents about concerns related to data center growth, higher energy bills, and pending transmission projects.

Several major projects are currently open for public comment, including the Golden to Mars transmission line project, whose comment period closes December 9 at 5:00 p.m. Additional dates for upcoming District Dialogues will be released soon.
