Nishant Garg, founder of Delta Enterprise USA and the Telecom Institute of New York (T.I.N.Y.), has been appointed to the CTIA’s prestigious Reverse Logistics and Service Quality (RLSQ) Leadership Council.

CTIA, the leading voice of the U.S. wireless communications industry, announced his appointment on August 1, 2025, via its LinkedIn page, stating: “We are excited to welcome Delta Enterprise USA, a subsidiary of Telecom Institute of New York, and their President & CEO, Nishant Garg, to the RLSQ Leadership Council.”

The RLSQ Leadership Council plays a key role in shaping repair, refurbishment, and recycling standards for the wireless sector. Its membership includes representatives from industry giants such as Apple, Samsung, Google, Motorola, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.

At the Telecom Institute of New York’s graduation ceremony on August 12 in New York City, Michelle James, CTIA’s Vice President of Strategic Industry Programs, praised Garg’s appointment: “I am grateful to call Nick both a close colleague and a friend for many years… I like to refer to us as the OGs in the wireless industry… We are grateful for Nick’s participation in our RLSQ Leadership Council at CTIA. Thank you, Nick, we’re lucky to have you!”

A press statement from Tiny Telecom emphasized that Garg’s role ensures “small business experience, grassroots insight, and inclusive innovation are brought into high-level decision-making.” It described him as a “sterling success story that exemplifies how vision, hard work, and dedication can shape an extraordinary journey.”

Born in Darjeeling, India, with roots in Nepal, Garg arrived in the United States in 2000 with little more than ambition. He began his career as a wireless retail sales associate and has since become a recognized leader in wireless communications, education, and sustainability.

“Wireless is not a luxury anymore, it’s a necessity. And making it accessible, sustainable, and equitable is a responsibility we all share,” Garg noted.

Over the past two decades, he has built a multifaceted business ecosystem that includes a nationwide wireless distribution network, a chain of retail stores, device repair and restoration services, electronics recycling programs, and training initiatives for differently-abled and underserved communities. His work has advanced wireless access, affordability, and sustainability across the sector.

Through T.I.N.Y., based in Forest Hills, Queens, Garg has created an EdTech platform offering hands-on training in repair, sales, and entrepreneurship. The institute focuses on closing the skills gap for minority and economically disadvantaged groups, while also serving as an approved vendor for ACCESS-VR (Adult Career and Continuing Education Services – Vocational Rehabilitation), furthering inclusive workforce development.

Delta Enterprise USA, headquartered in Queens, is a global distributor of mobile phones and accessories known for reliability and competitive pricing. The company’s reverse logistics operations streamline device redeployment, while its expanding role in the IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) sector promotes responsible standards for sustainability and reuse.

Beyond his business ventures, Garg actively engages with the Indian American and Nepali diaspora, serving on the boards of the Nepali Chamber of Commerce and Miss Nepal North America, where he advocates for cross-cultural collaboration and community representation.
