Bollywood actor Malaika Arora has leased out a residential apartment in Bandra West for ₹1.17 crore (approximately $124,000) over a three-year period, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards.
The lease, registered in March 2026, begins with a monthly rent of ₹3.10 lakh (about $3,300), escalating by 5% annually. The rent rises to ₹3.25 lakh (around $3,450) in the second year, with a further increase in the final year, taking the total rental value to ₹1.17 crore over 36 months.
The apartment, located in the Vida building in Bandra West, attracted a stamp duty of ₹30,819 (roughly $370) and registration charges of ₹1,000 (about $12). The tenant has also paid a security deposit of ₹20 lakh (around $24,000), documents show.
Bandra West—often dubbed the “Queen of the Suburbs”—continues to command strong demand from high-net-worth individuals and members of the film industry, driven by its blend of premium housing, lifestyle amenities, and proximity to commercial hubs such as Bandra Kurla Complex, Lower Parel, and Andheri.
Arora, a prominent figure in India’s entertainment and fitness space, has increasingly been associated with lifestyle and real estate investments alongside her media presence.
