The Indian American Cultural Association of Westchester (IACAW) has announced that the 25th Anniversary of the Heritage of India Festival (HIF) will take place on August 3, 2025, in Valhalla, New York. This milestone event celebrates a quarter-century of preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of India in the United States.
Originally launched as a small local gathering to highlight India’s classical traditions, HIF has grown into one of the largest multicultural festivals in the region. Each year, it brings together thousands of families, artists, and vendors to experience Indian dance, music, art, cuisine, and values that bridge generations.

The Silver Jubilee theme, “25 Years of Culture, Community & Celebration,” honors the influence of Indian traditions on modern life and recognizes the visionaries, volunteers, and supporters who have nurtured the festival’s growth.
Highlights of HIF 2025 include:
- Appearances by local, state, national, and international dignitaries
- Intergenerational cultural performances
- A vibrant marketplace featuring Indian fashion, jewelry, and cuisine
- Dedicated wellness, art, and youth zones
- A special tribute ceremony honoring long-time contributors
IACAW invites community members, sponsors, local leaders, and media to join in making this milestone celebration a memorable one.
