In a landmark collaboration expanding their footprints across India, producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, along with producers Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, Rishab Shetty, National award-winning director Prasanth Varma and Shiv Chanana of T-Series came together for the launch of the mythological epic, Jai Hanuman at the film’s muhurat puja held at Anjanadri Betta, widely recognized as the birthplace of Anjaneya (Hanuman).

(The Anjanadri Hill or Anjanadri Betta lies in Hanumanahalli near Hampi, Karnataka, India. It is believed to be the birthplace of the Hindu deity, Lord Hanuman. According to the Ramayan, Hanuman was born to Anjana and thus also called Anjaneya, and his birthplace is now known as Anjaneyadri (Anjana’s Hill). The hill has a Hanuman temple at the top and about 575 steps. The temple has a rock-carved idol of Lord Hanuman. There are also shrines of Lord Ram and Sita and an Anjana temple in the vicinity.)

Rooted deeply in Indian heritage and spiritual tradition, the National award-winning actor plays Lord Hanuman in a pivotal role, along with actor Teja Sajja, he graced the auspicious day,

With Bhushan Kumar collaborating closely with Mythri Movie Makers, Jai Hanuman is envisioned as a large-scale cinematic spectacle. The film is being mounted with expansive production values and advanced technology to do justice to the scale and reverence the story demands. It is envisioned as a tribute to one of the most revered figures in Indian culture, celebrating faith, courage and strength in a way that resonates with audiences across the country.

Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar and T-Series present the pan-India mythological spectacle that has now gone on floors.

The film has a stellar crew, including Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani, cinematographer S Thirunavukkarasu, and production designer Srinagendra Thangala.

Speaking to Indian Express, Rishab Shetty stated, “I initially expressed my wish to the producer and director to hold the muhurat at the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. Today, the entire team has gathered here to seek his blessings, and we are happy and fortunate that it could take place at this sacred place. Jai Hanuman was announced even before the release ofKantara: Chapter 1, and I view this as a rare chance to serve through the film.”

Shetty added, “This will be a divine movie and an opportunity to show our devotion on screen. Director Prasanth Varma has created a powerful story, and I believe that devotees and followers of Lord Rama and Hanuman will experience it with a deep sense of faith.”
