The Embassy of India in Washington DC, in association with the International Hindi Association Washington DC Chapter, will celebrate Vishwa Hindi Divas 2026 on January 11, 2026.

As part of the observance, the Embassy will organize an Essay Writing Competition and a Poetry Recitation Competition for young children.

The Embassy stated that topics for the competitions will be shared with registered participants via email.
