The Asian American Republican Coalition, AARC, (aarcusa.org) held a press conference Friday, November 8, 2024, to congratulate President-elect Donald J. Trump on what it described as “his historical, unprecedented and landslide victory by securing a strong mandate of American people to be the 47th President of the United State of America.â€
The press conference was also aimed at highlighting the role of AARC in the election campaigns to win the top job and other seats for Republicans, a press release from the organization said.
“We are extremely pleased with this year’s election results,†AARC Founder and Chairman, Hemant Bhatt is quoted saying, congratulating Trump and other Republican winners. According to him, the elections “provide a direction to our great nation America for robust economy, Legal Immigration, controlling inflation, less crimes, end of wars etc.â€
“Asian American Republican Coalition worked very hard to spread the message to vote for President Trump and Republicans. AARC promotes the Republican Party agenda and to work together for growth, as we are committed to making America a greater nation in the future,†Bhatt added.

The AARC was started in 2015 and was formally established in 2018, and “has been tirelessly working to educate, empower and engagement of Republican Party’s conservative values, freedom of speech and freedom of Religion and beliefs for social, economic and political awareness to Asian American communities nationwide,†the press release said.
Organizers noted the results showed American voters “heavily favored Republican party†handing it a majority in the Senate, close to majority in the House, overall, more popular votes for the party, and winning 312 Electoral College votes.
All these give a “strong mandate†to President Trump as the 47th President of American, and are proof that voters agree with the message†Make America Great Again†the AARC said.
Sridhar Chillara, AARC’s national president, highlighted the Asian American community’s significance in the United States, estimating there were around 25 million members, with approximately 15 million eligible voters.
Chillara emphasized that AARC’s supporters nationwide, especially in key swing states, have the potential to make a decisive impact on elections.
For example, New Jersey, with a margin of less than 5% in the last elections, is showing signs of becoming a potential swing state with continuous engagement and efforts from AARC, Chillara contended. He also outlined AARC’s plans to expand its presence into more states across the country and invited like-minded individuals to join the organization.
President of Public Relations & Media outreach Sanjiv Pandya, and one of the founding members, praised AARC’s leadership, vision and team effort, as well as growth of the organization since its inception.
The AARC press conference was also attended by co-founders and members Samir Raval, Nimesh Patel, Dilip Bhatt as well as Women Wing President, Tarang Soni, Women Wing Coordinator, Manisha Bhatt and Youth Wing President Parth Patel, as well as many volunteers.
