Tanishq, India’s “most trusted” jewelry brand, has expanded its U.S. presence with the opening of its eighth and ninth stores in Tysons, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida.
According to a statement from the company, the latest openings reflect Tanishq’s long-term vision for growth and cultural connection in key American markets, marking an important milestone in its North American expansion. Both locations celebrated their grand openings with ribbon-cutting and diya-lighting ceremonies, live musical performances, and the presence of distinguished dignitaries.

The Virginia opening was led by Ambassador of India to the United States Vinay Kwatra, who served as the chief guest. Other dignitaries in attendance included Kannan Srinivasan, Virginia State Senator; Shuchita Sonalika, director and Head of North America at the Confederation of Indian Industry; Michael McCabe, resident director, Tata Group North America; and Arun Narayan, CEO of the Jewelry Division at Tanishq.
Located at Tysons Corner, the 5,500-square-foot Virginia showroom sits at the center of the region’s Indian and South Asian communities and is expected to attract shoppers from Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., the statement noted.

The store showcases Tanishq’s blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, offering jewelry for everyday wear, weddings, and special occasions. Guests can explore collections such as Celeste Solitaires, Elan, and Embrace, with offerings ranging from daily styles to statement pieces.
“Tysons is one of the most dynamic retail destinations in the country, and opening here marks an important step in our U.S. journey,” said Amritpal Singh, Business Head, TCL North America Inc. “The DMV is home to a vibrant and culturally rich South Asian community, and we’re looking forward to becoming part of the region’s growing jewelry landscape.”

In Orlando, Tanishq opened a 1,800-square-foot boutique inside the Florida Mall. The statement noted that Orlando was selected for its “unique position as both a global destination and one of Florida’s fastest-growing cities.” With millions of visitors each year and a strong South Asian population, Central Florida offers an “ideal setting for Tanishq to introduce its heritage craftsmanship to a wide and diverse audience.”
The Orlando store features more than 5,000 jewelry pieces, including exclusive collections curated specifically for the local market. Highlights include the “Heart Collection, Birthstones, and the Paper Clip Collection, alongside the brand’s signature gold, diamond, and gemstone designs,” according to the statement. The store offers jewelry for weddings, festivals, gifting, and everyday wear.

The Orlando launch celebration included ceremonial lamp lighting and live music, providing guests with an immersive introduction to the brand’s artistry and cultural heritage. In a unique gesture, the ribbon cutting was conducted by all the women guests in attendance. The opening was further marked by the presence of senior Titan leadership, including Narayan.
“Orlando offered an opportunity to introduce Tanishq to a global audience,” Singh added. “With its fast-growing population, thriving tourism, and strong South Asian community, it’s an ideal market for our expansion. We’re excited to bring our craftsmanship and modern approach to Indian fine jewelry to Central Florida, and to offer a destination where customers can discover pieces for every celebration.”
