Suhas Subramanyam, the Democratic Nominee for Virginia’s 10th Congressional District and State Senator, has received an endorsement from the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund adding significant momentum to his campaign.

Subramanyam has consistently received a 100 per cent voting record from the Virginia LCV during his tenure in the Virginia General Assembly from 2020-2024, earning him the designation of “Legislative Champion” each year.

The LCV Action Fund focuses on electing leaders committed to promoting clean, healthy environment and opposing candidates who are against climate action. Their advocacy has significantly raised awareness of climate change and clean energy as pivotal matters in important elections in recent years.

“After this week’s devastating Supreme Court rulings on top of the extreme heat impacting Northern Virginia and much of the country, it is clear we need elected officials like Senator Suhas Subramanyam who will put the health and safety of people over Big Polluters and corporate interests, protect our democracy, and fight for our communities and future generations,” said LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President for Government Affairs, Tiernan Sittenfeld in a statement.

Sittenfeld further said, “Senator Suhas Subramanyam has been an environmental champion in the Virginia General Assembly, and LCV Action Fund is thrilled to support his campaign to prioritize protecting public health, tackling the climate crisis, and fighting for a clean energy future for all Northern Virginians and people across the country.”

“The League of Conservation Voters does such important work protecting our planet for future generations,” said Senator Subramanyam. “I’m honored to earn their support, and I’m proud to stand with them 100 per cent of the time. In Congress, I will continue to support the transition to renewable energy and protect our natural resources so that future generations can enjoy a habitable planet, just as I have in the Virginia General Assembly.”
