Actors Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur are all set to begin a new chapter together this March, and the couple has thoughtfully chosen to go for a modern, minimalist celebration instead of a big fat destination wedding. 

The duo is all hands on in terms of planning, and all elements of the wedding are being planned and curated keeping this thought in mind. The idea is for them to celebrate their union without an over-the-top display of excess.

Known for their grounded personalities, Kamra and Kapur want their wedding to reflect who they are, both individually and as a couple. The decision to embrace a clean, elegant and contemporary aesthetic comes from a place of authenticity rather than trend.

A source close to the couple shares, “For Kritika and Gaurav, the wedding was never about scale, it is about meaning. They chose to ditch a destination wedding for a modern, minimal and intimate celebration in Mumbai. They want something that feels true to their personalities and their shared values. Every detail is being chosen with care. They are deeply involved in ensuring that they embrace this new chapter and begin that with a celebration that feels authentic to them. Right from decor to styling, everything reflects this thought.”

The celebrations are expected to be thoughtfully-curated and centered around warmth and togetherness. From décor to overall styling, the emphasis will be on sophistication, creating an atmosphere that feels personal.

The couple have confirmed their relationship only two months ago. And yet, as per a report in Times Entertainment, the wedding is going to be a two-and-half day affair.  Reportedly, the celebrations include two intimate days followed by a grand reception.

Kamra is known for her impeccable performances in The Great Shamsuddin Family, Sare Jahan Se Accha and others. Kapur, actor and television and cricket presenter, acted in films like Darna Mana Hai, Sssshhh… and A Wednesday! and has been previously married.
