Indiaspora, a leading nonprofit organization representing the global Indian diaspora, will host its Global AI Summit on March 25, 2026, at the JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire in Bengaluru. The event will convene leading “founders, policymakers, executives, investors, and technologists” to examine how artificial intelligence is “rapidly transforming industries and redefining the future of business.”
Building on the momentum generated over the past three years, and following the recent AI Summit organized by the Government of India in New Delhi, the Indiaspora Global AI Summit reflects growing global interest in understanding AI’s accelerating impact and its practical applications across industries. This year’s gathering marks Indiaspora’s fourth AI Summit, following previous editions held in San Francisco and Dubai, according to a statement from the organization.
“The Global AI Summit will offer a high-level exploration of the current ways in which AI is reshaping industries, alongside deep dives into breakthrough innovations expected to drive the next wave of economic and technological transformation,” the statement said. “Discussions will also spotlight how Global Capability Centers (GCCs) are adopting AI at scale, building advanced capability hubs, and establishing global centers of excellence, and how Indian corporations are utilizing AI throughout their businesses.”
The summit will bring together a curated group of founders, executives, and investors representing many of India’s Top 100 startups, creating a platform for “collaboration, learning, and innovation.” Indiaspora will also host a cohort of women engineering students as part of its efforts to “advance opportunities for women in technology.”
The program will feature a lineup of speakers from across the global AI ecosystem, including Abhishek Singh, Director General of the National Informatics Centre and Additional Secretary at India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology; Anand Deshpande, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Persistent Systems; Nicholas Booker, Co-Founder of Indogenius; Patrick J. McGovern, Founder and CEO of PJM.ai and Board Chair of The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation; Ray Wang, Principal Analyst and Founder of Constellation Research; TK Kurien, CEO of Premji Invest; and Vani Kola, Managing Director of Kalaari Capital, among other innovators, policymakers, and industry experts.
“In 2026, the question isn’t whether AI will transform your business, it’s whether you’ll be leading that transformation or scrambling to catch up. The insights you gain here could compress years of trial and error into actionable strategies you can implement next quarter,” said Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Perot Jain, Anurag Jain.
“The most meaningful insights often come from conversations among those solving similar problems — founders, researchers, and operators sharing what works and what doesn’t. As AI moves from experimentation to real-world deployment, forums like the Indiaspora Global AI Summit create important spaces to exchange perspectives, learn from each other, and build relationships that strengthen the broader innovation ecosystem,” said Managing Director of Kalaari Capital, Vani Kola.
“We have convened very successful global AI summits for the diaspora in Silicon Valley and Dubai, and this year we chose Bengaluru to bring the conversation to India. By convening diaspora leaders alongside global experts and Indian innovators, we are creating a powerful exchange of ideas that reflects India’s central role in shaping the future of AI,” said Founder and Chairman of Indiaspora, MR Rangaswami.
Indiaspora also acknowledged the support of individual and corporate sponsors helping make the event possible. These include Deshpande of Persistent Systems and Himanshu Shah, Founder and Executive Chairman of Marius Pharmaceuticals and Shah Capital. Premier sponsors include Persistent Systems, SEW, and WestBridge Capital; leadership sponsors include Chiratae Ventures, HSBC, Perot Jain, and Rubrik; and impact sponsors include Galent, Intellect Design Arena, and Zinnov.
According to Indiaspora, Persistent Systems, which leads the SheShapesAI program honoring women leaders in artificial intelligence, will present an award recognizing an eminent woman leader at the event. The company will also highlight its RootingforAI initiative, pledging to plant a physical tree for every digital tree planted by summit participants.
