India’s Consul General in Houston Engages Honeywell Leadership on Energy Transition and Technology Collaboration

As India and the United States deepen cooperation in energy, technology, and industrial innovation, Consul General of India in Houston, D.C. Manjunath, visited Honeywell’s Houston facility on February 24 for discussions with the company’s senior leadership. The visit focused on expanding collaboration in key sectors aligned with both countries’ strategic priorities.

During the visit, the Consul General met with Pramesh Maheshwari, President – Lifecycle Solutions, Services & Cyber Security, along with senior leaders representing Process Automation, Energy and Sustainability Solutions – UOP, and Process Solutions. Siddharth Aryan, Director, USISPF, also participated in the interaction.

In a statement, CG Manjunath said the discussions spanned a broad range of topics, including the “global energy sector outlook, emerging technologies, market evolution, and Honeywell’s remarkable growth journey.”

“It was particularly encouraging to learn that India represents Honeywell’s largest footprint outside the United States, reflecting the depth of our longstanding partnership,” he added. “The legacy of Tata Honeywell and Honeywell India’s evolution added a meaningful historical dimension to the conversation.”

According to the Consul General, the meeting also examined potential areas of future collaboration, particularly in sectors aligned with India’s priorities in “energy transition, sustainability, and advanced industrial automation.”

The visit concluded with a tour of Honeywell’s Experience Center, where the delegation viewed technology solutions shaping the future of industrial operations. CG Manjunath expressed appreciation to Honeywell and USISPF for their hospitality and for facilitating the engagement.

“We look forward to continued collaboration in strengthening India–US innovation, technology, and energy partnerships,” he added.
