Indian American Leaders Join Senator Reed’s Spring Breakfast in Rhode Island

An Indian American delegation recently joined Jack Reed at his annual Spring Breakfast held at the historic Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston.

The delegation included Dr. Amrut Patel, Deena Patel, Sumesh Hirway, Rakesh and Aditi Soni, Rakesh Kavsari, Girish Soni, Hardik Patel, Sanjay Gokhale, and Abhishek Singh. Participants described the gathering as an inspiring morning marked by “meaningful conversations, friendship, public service, and opportunities” for continued collaboration between elected officials and the Indian American community.

According to a statement, the event brought together political leaders, business professionals, and community representatives from across Rhode Island and the broader New England region. 

Discussions focused on leadership, collaboration, and the future of diverse communities.

Attendees also interacted with key public officials, including Gabe Amo, Seth Magaziner, Lieutenant Governor Sabina Matos, East Providence Mayor Bob DaSilva and Karina DaSilva, as well as General Treasurer James A. Diossa.

The delegation further engaged with Shruthi Purushotham, Boston’s First Deputy Consul General of India, along with entrepreneurs Jaymin and Kinnari Patel, and other guests committed to community service and public engagement.
