In the aftermath of “Operation Sindoor” and as part of India’s continued efforts to combat cross-border terrorism, seven All-Party Delegations are scheduled to visit key partner nations, including members of the United Nations Security Council, later this month.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs on May 17, 2025, the delegations will convey “India’s national consensus and resolute approach to combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.” The ministry added that the delegations aim to deliver a strong message of the country’s zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism on the global stage.

Each delegation comprises Members of Parliament from various political parties, along with prominent political leaders and seasoned diplomats. The MPs leading the delegations include Shashi Tharoor (Indian National Congress), Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda (Bharatiya Janata Party), Sanjay Kumar Jha (Janata Dal United), Kanimozhi Karunanidhi (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), Supriya Sule (Nationalist Congress Party), and Shrikant Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena).
