The India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) has announced two major community programs this spring, offering meaningful opportunities for youth, seniors, and families across New England.

The Youth 3D Printing Workshop (Age 8+) will take place on April 11, from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM in Woburn, MA.

Supported by IIT AGNE and sponsored by Evergreen Adult Day Health Center & Adult Foster Care, IAGB will host a hands‑on 3D Printing Workshop designed to introduce young learners to modern fabrication and digital design, according to a statement.

“Participants will explore the fundamentals of 3D printing technology and gain an introduction to 3D design software,” it added. “The workshop will also cover materials and printing processes, followed by live demonstrations showing how digital designs are transformed into physical objects. Students will engage in guided design and printing activities, and the session will conclude with interactive Q&A and discussion.”

IAGB President Nilesh Agrawal emphasized that programs like this “help spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of innovators.”

Vice President Deepak Garg highlighted the importance of “creating accessible STEM learning opportunities for youth across the region.”

IAGB Director Prashant Kulkarni, who is leading the workshop, noted that the session is designed to give students “a practical, hands‑on introduction to the world of 3D design and modern manufacturing.”

New England Senior Expo & Cultural Exchange will take place on May 16 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, in Burlington, MA

In collaboration with Happy Life Adult Day Health, IAGB will host the New England Senior Expo & Cultural Exchange — a free, community‑centered event celebrating seniors and providing access to essential services and cultural experiences.

The Expo will offer free health checkups, informational and community resource booths, cultural exhibits, demonstrations, clothing and jewelry vendors, and a variety of entertainment and interactive activities. Attendees will also be able to enjoy food available for purchase from The Treasury: Indian & Greek Kitchen, Burlington, the event’s official food partner.

President Nilesh Agrawal shared that the Expo “reflects IAGB’s commitment to ensuring dignity, accessibility, and meaningful engagement for seniors. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where seniors feel supported, celebrated, and connected.”

Vice President Deepak Garg noted that the event “brings families, service providers, and cultural partners together in a way that strengthens community bonds.”

Secretary Asha Thotangare added that she looks forward to welcoming seniors and community members to this meaningful gathering.

Additional Upcoming IAGB Events

IAGB will also be hosting several community‑focused activities in late spring and early summer, including the IAGB 5K Walk/Run, promoting health and wellness, and the IAGB Pickleball Tournament, scheduled for late May and early June.
