A.R. Rahman’s “The Wonderment Tour” Extended to the United Kingdom

After a successful 16-City North American leg grossed over $12,500,000 with 150,000 tickets sold, and 40,000 attended the premiere concert in Mumbai, tickets are on sale now for three new arena dates, including The O2 in London, Co-op Live in Manchester, and Utilita Arena in Birmingham next month in the UK. 

Composer A.R. Rahman is bringing The Wonderment Tour to the U.K after the hugely successful 16-city run. 

The Wonderment Tour in North America was presented by Concerts West, along with AEG Presents and Kash Patel Productions. Its premiere concert held in Mumbai on May 3 was also a grand success. 

As a testament to Rahman’s cross-cultural, worldwide appeal, the North American leg had drawn crowds of all ages, with sell-outs in major markets including Washington D.C.’s. EagleBank Arena, Boston’s Agganis Arena, Newark’s Prudential Center, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, Oakland Arena, Dallas’s Texas Trust CU Theatre, and Chicago’s NOW Arena. 

“North America, you filled our hearts with wonder. Thank you to every listener, my fellow artiste friends, every technician and every unseen hand who made this journey possible. Grateful for your love and your loved ones who shared this music with us,” posted Rahman on Instagram. “We touched over 150,000 hearts, with millions waiting outside, reminding us how music unites beyond walls. The Wonderment Tour will stay with me as a story of shared love, music and memories.” 

The Wonderment Tour features Rahman’s visionary ensemble of vocalists and musicians who join him in a genre-spanning live experience. This powerful collaboration blends orchestral arrangements, electronic soundscapes, and songs from Indian and global cinema, creating an event that invites audiences to look beyond their expectations and experience the wonder. 

The live immersive experience is layered, emotional, and cinematic, crafted to awaken the senses and connect people through sound and story. Featured artistes include Shweta Mohan, Shuba Vedula (Shuba), Rakshita Suresh, Mayssa Karaa, Zanai Bhosle, A. R. Ameen, Nakul Abhyankar, Adithya Radhakrishnan (Adithya RK), and Nitesh Aher. Instrumentalists and the touring band include renowned performers Ranjit Barot, Ashwin Srinivasan, Aleif Hamdan, Nilanjana Ghosh Dastidar, and Evelyn Soto.

A.R. Rahman is one of the most celebrated and prolific recording artistes in the world, with over 150 million albums sold. As the composer of landmark scores for Slumdog Millionaire (including its global hit single “Jai Ho”), 127 HoursThe Hundred-Foot JourneyRojaBombayDil Se…, TaalLagaanVandemataram, and dozens of other films, Rahman has earned two Oscars, two Grammys, a Golden Globe, and BAFTA Award among other accolades.
