For the first time ever, His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji of Avadhoota Datta Peetham of Mysore, India, held two Music for Meditation and Healing concerts on August 3rd and 4th, 2024, at The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee.

On August 3rd, Sri Swamiji performed “Guru Guha Raga Sagara,” and on August 4th, he performed “Varam Dehi Raga Sagara.” Hundreds of devotees from across the country, and from around the world attended these unique concerts, which Sri Swamiji performed for the first time in a natural caves setting.

After the concert, Sri Swamiji expressed his joy, saying he was “extremely happy,” because all musical notes he played came together perfectly.

To enhance the mental and physical well-being of devotees, Sri Swamiji decided to conduct ‘Nāda Yōga Chikitsa,’ music therapy sessions in the caves.

The August 3rd concert was named “Guru Guha” not only because it took place in a cave, but also due to its deeper significance. Sri Swamiji chose this name with profound truths in mind, encompassing concepts from Vedanta, Purāṇas, Music, and Kriya Yōga. It also includes the secret of The Srīvidya embedded by Sri Shankarāchārya in Soundarya Lahari.

“Guha has a very close relationship with music. Guha constantly practices Nāda Brahma Upāsana, says the ‘Rudra Yāmala Tantra’. This text teaches about all the Tantras, including Shaiva Tantra and Devi Tantra,” explained Sri Swamiji.

Guha is the principal deity for this Nāda Yōga, which is why Sri Swamiji organized “Guru Guha Nāda Yōga Therapy.”  Therefore, according to Sri Swamiji, devotees participating in this program will receive the blessing of Guha, the āchārya of Srīvidya, along with the benefits of Srīvidya Upāsana.

Sri Swamiji has performed hundreds of meditation and healing concerts around the world in unique venues.
