Anthem Sports & Entertainment said on Wednesday that its flagship promotion TNA Wrestling has entered into a new multi-year exclusive programming agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery’s sports channel Eurosport India, extending a partnership that has steadily expanded its footprint across the Indian subcontinent.
The renewed deal, which is set to take effect from July 2027, will bring hundreds of hours of first-run TNA programming to audiences across India and neighboring markets including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives and Afghanistan, the company said in a statement.
At the core of the agreement is the consolidation of TNA’s weekly flagship show, Thursday Night iMPACT!, alongside a slate of exclusive content tailored for regional audiences. This includes Pehlwani Patakha, a Hindi-language highlights show designed specifically for Indian viewers, which has emerged as a key vehicle for local engagement in a market where wrestling continues to command a loyal following.
The programming package also extends to TNA+ specials and marquee pay-per-view events such as Bound For Glory and Slammiversary, in addition to archival content ranging from classic matches to legacy series like TNA’s Greatest Matches and Legends. The inclusion of such content reflects a broader strategy to monetize TNA’s extensive library while deepening viewer retention in a competitive sports entertainment landscape.
Executives on both sides framed the agreement as a continuation of a relationship that has delivered consistent audience traction since TNA’s debut on Warner Bros. Discovery platforms in early 2020.
Arjun Nohwar, Managing Director for India and South Asia at Warner Bros. Discovery, said the renewal underscores the network’s focus on expanding its sports entertainment portfolio. “Professional wrestling continues to enjoy strong popularity in the market, and TNA’s distinctive storytelling and high-energy action have resonated well with viewers,” he said, adding that the channel would look to build on existing momentum.
Carlos Silva, President of TNA Wrestling, pointed to rising audience metrics and deeper fan engagement in the region as validation of the partnership. He said Indian viewers had “warmly embraced” iMPACT! while helping turn Pehlwani Patakha into a breakout success.
The agreement comes at a time when TNA is seeking to capitalize on renewed global visibility. The promotion has recently entered into a talent-sharing arrangement with WWE’s NXT brand, allowing cross-appearances between rosters—an unusual collaboration in a historically competitive industry. It has also secured a new U.S. broadcast deal with AMC Networks, expanding its domestic reach.
Industry observers say the South Asian market, particularly India, remains a crucial growth frontier for global wrestling promotions, driven by a large youth demographic, rising digital consumption, and the enduring popularity of televised wrestling formats.
TNA, founded in 2002, produces over 200 hours of original content annually and is broadcast in more than 200 countries. Its current roster features a mix of established names and emerging talent, while its legacy includes globally recognized figures such as Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Kurt Angle.
For Eurosport India, the deal strengthens its positioning as a destination for international sports properties, complementing its portfolio that spans cycling, tennis, motorsport and cricket. Wrestling, executives say, offers a unique blend of sport and storytelling that continues to deliver consistent viewership across linear and digital platforms.
While financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, the scale and duration of the deal signal a deepening commitment by both companies to the region—one where audience loyalty, once secured, has proven remarkably durable.
