Renascent Media, in partnership with Bridgewater Commons, hosted “Diwali @ The Commons” from October 18–19, 2025, in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The two-day event brought the color, music, and spirit of Diwali to one of the East Coast’s premier shopping destinations.
The immersive festival featured live folk dances, a saree walk, live music performances, a mini-Ramleela, and a lively Bollywood flash mob finale. Attendees also enjoyed free mehndi (henna) art, vendor showcases, product sampling, and family-friendly cultural engagement activities. According to Renascent Media, the celebration attracted thousands of visitors from across New Jersey and neighboring states.
“Diwali @ The Commons is more than an event — it is a feeling of unity, belonging, and cultural pride brought to life in a mainstream space,” said Tanvi Prenita Chandra, President of Renascent Media. “We are proud to collaborate with Bridgewater Commons to create an experience where heritage meets community, and where people of all backgrounds can celebrate together.”
For the first time, Bridgewater Commons extended the celebration across two consecutive days to accommodate growing public enthusiasm.
“Our previous one-day festivals created such excitement that we knew we had to expand to reflect the scale of Diwali,” said Tom Kovacic, Marketing & Business Development Director at Bridgewater Commons. “It was wonderful to see not just our strong South Asian community participate, but also guests from all backgrounds learning about the culture and its traditions.”
The event also recognized the contributions of local dance academies, influencers, cultural organizations, sponsors, and vendor partners who helped make the celebration a success. Participating brands included Star Tours, New York Life, Horizon BCBS, LT Foods, Shan Foods, and Northlandz, among others.
