The USA Alumni Association of Loyola College, Chennai, will host the “National Loyola Alumni USA Summit 2025,” commemorating 100 years of excellence of the premier Jesuit institution, from September 26-28, 2025, at the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel in Texas.
“This centenary celebration unites alumni, students, industry leaders, and the wider community — not only to honor a remarkable past, but also to engage meaningfully in the present through business and professional networking, while collectively envisioning an inspired future,” Chair of the Program Committee for the National Loyola Alumni USA Summit 2025, Christy Paul, told South Asian Herald.

Founded in 1925 by the Society of Jesus, Loyola College has cultivated generations of leaders, changemakers, and innovators. Paul, a long-standing member of the Loyola Alumni Association in both the UAE and USA, emphasized that the summit goes beyond a reunion. “It is a celebration of unity, gratitude, and lifelong connections that define the Loyola spirit. It is all about, ‘Connect, Collaborate, and Celebrate.’”
With more than 6,000 Loyola alumni residing in the United States, the Dallas summit is expected to attract over 1,000 participants from across continents. Globally, the Loyola Alumni Association includes 36 international chapters and 22 chapters across India, forming a robust community of over 64,000 graduates. A high-level delegation from Loyola College Chennai is also expected to attend, reaffirming the bond between the institution and its global alumni family.
Among the prominent USA Alumni speakers at the summit will be Global Tennis Legend and Padma Shri awardee Vijay Amritraj; Silicon Valley Investor and Founder of Indiaspora, MR Rangaswami; President & CEO, SB International Inc., Gupta Capital Group, and Philanthropist, Satish Gupta; and Emeritus Scientist at NASA, and Chairman, Loyola Alumni Association USA Chapter, Antony Jeevarajan.
“It brings me immense pride to be part of this landmark celebration — 100 glorious years of Loyola College Chennai. The summit in Dallas is not just a reunion, but a celebration of shared values, global friendships, and the enduring spirit of Loyola,” said Amritraj, who is also a UN Messenger of Peace, and Philanthropist.
He expressed his appreciation for the organizing committee and Paul’s leadership, which he described as marked by “passion and inclusivity that truly reflects Loyola’s legacy.”

Rangaswami said, “Loyola College instilled in us the values of excellence, leadership, and service—principles that continue to drive meaningful impact in communities around the world.” He encouraged alumni from across all 50 U.S. states to help inspire the next generation and shape a future rooted in “knowledge, innovation, and purpose.”
Gupta also shared his reflections noting “As a proud alumnus of Loyola College Chennai, I am deeply inspired by the legacy of excellence that our alma mater continues to uphold. Celebrating 100 years of Loyola’s impact here in Dallas is a powerful reminder of how education shapes visionary leaders and vibrant communities.”
He urged fellow alumni to “honor this milestone and continue building a future rooted in integrity, innovation, and service.”
Jeevarajan, added, “As we gather to celebrate a century of Loyola College Chennai’s excellence, I am reminded of how its legacy of rigorous education and values has propelled alumni like me to reach for the stars—quite literally.”

Like Stanford and Harvard, Loyola’s network fuels real results—from funding to strategic partnerships,” he added.
Since its founding by Fr. Francis Bertram, SJ, in 1925, Loyola College has been a beacon of intellectual and moral development. “While rooted in a Christian framework, the college has embraced students from all castes, creeds, and socio-economic backgrounds,” said Paul. This inclusive vision has fostered a diverse student body, with particular emphasis on supporting marginalized communities, including first-generation learners, refugees, and students with disabilities.
The USA Alumni Association remains an active and engaged network of Loyola graduates across all 50 states, dedicated to fostering leadership, cultural heritage, and social impact.
