The Embassy of India in Washington, D.C. has announced the launch of the 82nd edition of the Know India Programme (KIP), which will take place from May 12 to 31, 2025. The Government of India is actively encouraging youth from the Indian diaspora to participate in this immersive experience.
Aimed at engaging Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) aged 21 to 35, the KIP offers participants a deeper understanding of India’s contemporary culture, heritage, innovation, economy, and advancements in science and technology. The program also seeks to inspire young members of the diaspora to contribute to India’s developmental journey under the Viksit Bharat initiative, according to a statement from the Embassy.
Since its inception in 2003-04, KIP has hosted 81 editions, with nearly 2,922 PIO youth taking part in the initiative.
